MJEMA FOUNDATION – Giving Back Through Education
MJEMA FOUNDATION is a special AHMES Alumni initiative created to give former AHMES students an opportunity to give back to the community that helped shape their lives.
Many bright, disciplined and hardworking students come from families facing serious financial challenges. Although these students have the potential to achieve great academic success, limited financial resources may prevent them from accessing quality education.
Through MJEMA FOUNDATION, members of the AHMES Alumni community are invited to come together and support deserving students from disadvantaged backgrounds by contributing towards their education at AHMES Secondary School.
The main objective of this initiative is to create a sustainable scholarship and education-support programme funded primarily by former AHMES students, friends of AHMES and other well-wishers.
The philosophy of the foundation is simple:
“We were given an opportunity. Now it is our turn to create an opportunity for someone else.”
Beneficiaries will be students who demonstrate academic potential, good discipline, commitment to education and genuine financial need. The programme will aim to provide selected students with the opportunity to receive quality education at AHMES.
Support may include school fees, learning materials, uniforms, accommodation, meals or other essential educational needs depending on the resources available.
Every AHMES Alumni member can participate according to his or her ability. A contribution does not have to be large. When many alumni contribute together, even small individual contributions can create a life-changing opportunity for a student.
Members may support the programme through individual donations, monthly contributions, annual contributions, sponsorship of a specific student, professional support, fundraising activities or by connecting the foundation with individuals and organisations willing to support education.
MJEMA FOUNDATION will also encourage alumni to contribute ideas, professional expertise and recommendations on how the programme can grow into a transparent and sustainable education-support initiative.
We invite every AHMES Alumni member to participate in the discussion below. Share your ideas, suggestions and the kind of contribution you would be willing to make.

The AHMES Alumni Sports Tournament is a special sporting programme designed to bring together former AHMES students from different generations, graduation years and campuses through friendly and competitive sporting activities.
The tournament provides an opportunity for alumni to reconnect with old friends and classmates, meet alumni from other generations, promote healthy living, strengthen teamwork and celebrate the unity of the AHMES family.
Participants will have an opportunity to represent their graduation batches or organised Alumni teams in different sporting categories.

Depending on registration numbers, the organising committee may combine batches to create balanced teams.
Awards & Recognition
Winning teams and outstanding participants may receive trophies, medals and certificates. Special recognition may also be given for Best Player, Top Scorer, Best Goalkeeper, Best Team, Best Alumni Supporter and Fair Play Award.
